§ 24-15. Traffic safety commission—Duties.

[It shall be the duty of the traffic safety commission to:]

(a)

Act in an advisory capacity to the city council in all matters pertaining to transportation infrastructure and safety;

(b)

Review reports from consultants and city staff and make recommendations concerning the same to the city council;

(c)

Review complaints and suggestions from members of the general public concerning transportation infrastructure and safety matters and make recommendations to the city council; and

(d)

Review major development plans for impact on transportation infrastructure and safety when the same are referred to the committee by the city council and make recommendations as requested.
