§ 24-87. Speed limits on public streets.

  • The maximum prima facie speed limit on the following streets shall be as follows:

    (1)

    Pipeline Road:

    Between I-820 and east city limits—Thirty-five (35) miles per hour.

    (2)

    Precinct Line Road:

    a.

    From the North Tarrant Express (mile post 11.154) to Mid-Cities Boulevard (mile post 9.650)—Zoned at forty (40) miles per hour.

    b.

    Mid-Cities Boulevard (mile post 9.650) to Little Bear Creek (mile post 8.120)—Zoned forty-five (45) miles per hour.

    c.

    From Little Bear Creek (mile post 8.120) to the North Richland Hills/Hurst city limit (mile post 7.651)—Zoned at fifty (50) miles per hour.

    (3)

    Harwood Road:

    Between the west city limits and the east city limits—Forty (40) miles per hour.

    (4)

    Bedford-Euless Road:

    Between the west city limits line and the east city limits line—Thirty-five (35) miles per hour.

    (5)

    Hurst Boulevard:

    a.

    Between the west city limits (Station 442 + 07) and a point 680 feet west of Arthur Drive (Station 544 + 00), a distance of 1.931 miles—Forty-five (45) miles per hour.

    b.

    Between a point 680 feet west of Arthur Drive (Station 544 + 00) and a point 1,250 feet east of Bellaire Drive (Station 616 + 50) a distance of 1.373 miles—Forty-five (45) miles per hour.

    c.

    Between a point 1,250 feet east of Bellaire Drive (Station 616 + 50) and the east city limits (Station 677 + 28) a distance of 1.150 miles—Fifty (50) miles per hour.

    a.
