§ 2-5. Bank signatures and electronic authorizations.

  • Funds of the city shall be deposited into such bank or banks as shall have been designated as depositories of the city and the withdrawal or transfers of funds shall be made by electronic authorization or joint signatures of the city manager, the deputy city manager, or the city secretary and of the director of finance or the personnel administrator, it being the intention of this section to require authorization or signatures from different city departments where possible; provided, the city council may by resolution authorize the withdrawal from a single account on a single signature of some designated person if such funds are to be used for a specific purpose.
