§ 4-84. Disposition of other animals.

(a)

Any impounded livestock or other animals, other than a dog or cat, which is not redeemed within five (5) days of capture and impoundment may be sold to the highest bidder at an auction conducted at such time and place as set forth in this chapter.

(b)

If an animal cannot be sold at a public auction as prescribed herein, the city or its agent may either give the animal to some person capable of humanely caring for it or humanely euthanize the animal.
