§ 5-186. Duties generally.

It shall be the duty of the electrical inspector to enforce the provisions of this article. He shall, upon application, grant permits for the installation, extension or alteration of electrical conductors and equipment and shall make inspections of all electrical work as provided for in this article. He shall keep complete records of all permits issued, inspections and reinspections made and other official work performed in accordance with the provisions of this article.
