§ 14-2. Discharge of firearms prohibited; exception.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot or discharge any gun, pistol, shotgun, rifle, airgun or cannon within the city.

(b)

It shall be a defense to prosecution under the previous section that the discharge of a gun was by a police officer pursuant to his duties or by a private party in defense of his person or home.
